What can you expect on your first visit to Chiropractic Life Center? This is a question commonly asked. On your first visit, you will receive a comprehensive examination designed to diagnose and correct Vertebral Subluxation. Our doctors utilize exams that are specific to the spine and nervous system, which incorporate orthopedic, neurologic and chiropractic testing. After your paperwork is complete, you will receive a hands-on examination of your spine that checks for spinal position, curvatures and proper muscle tone. Depending on your specific condition, our doctors will proceed with more in depth examinations to determine the extent of your condition. In certain circumstances, our doctors will take Spinal X-rays. Our office utilizes x-ray only when it is considered medically necessary by your treating doctor and there are many reasons why we may NOT perform x-rays...on pregnant women, on many children, or on someone who has recently had x-rays. When needed, x-rays provide our doctors with important information about your spine including the position of your bones, the quality of your spine, degenerative changes, and the effects of prior surgery. X- rays can often also indicate the relative length of time vertebral subluxation has been involved in your spine. Remember, if you have had recent x-rays, inform our staff, and bring them with you to your first visit. Chiropractic Life Center is dedicated to providing you with the best chiropractic care possible and we utilize the most modern chiropractic analytical and adjustive techniques and equipment. We know that subluxation is a serious threat to the quality and quantity of health of you and your family. If you have any further questions about your first visit, just call the office. We are here to serve you!
